Analysis of the Energy Performance of a Retrofitted Low-Rise Residential Building after an Energy Audit

The main reason for this research is to support the Korean government building retrofitting program initiated evaluate energy usage trends, propose energy-saving technologies, and focus on reducing demand in residential buildings through efficiency improvement. This achieved by assessing saved after introducing a simple measure an existing building. savings were realized collecting relevant data from house occupants, analyzing electricity bills, conservation measures (ECMS), leading improvement performance of envelope 2098 kWh 6307 via heating cooling equipment with initial incremental cost USD 500, fuel 306, payback 1.6 years. analysis takes occupants 2.6 years recoup 2400 invested 2144 kWh. Also, 3.3 tons CO2 emissions per year reduced, equivalent people use 20%. Finally, actual simulated are almost same consumption period, only slight difference October December, given 0.92 as Pearson Correlation coefficients.
